The boy and I have been watching Bleach again. We made it through the terrible Bount story arch and now we're back to the good true story! Totally obsessed.
You should check it out if you're into that sor tof thing! Oh and if you are just starting on the series, the boy and I agree that you can pretty much skip the Bount disks and it will not negatively affect your Bleach experience.
I've been taking a break from sewing for knitting, but for a while there I was sewing up a storm!
I made these adorable shorts from Colette Patterns. The above photo was on the Fancy Tiger blog. That is where I work part of the time. It's super awesome. You should go check out the blog, there are all sorts of interesting things going on over there.
I also made these bloomers:
They are super comfortable and I wear them frequently under my skirts. I
I took a quilting class with Anna Maria Horner and fell in love with her. She is a really amazing lady!
Then the staff at Fancy Tiger had a sew along for Anna Maria Horner's multi-tasker tote:
And then I made a painted portrait, in the dress length...
Did I mention that I fell in love with Anna Maria? Ha. Her patterns make sense to the way my brain works and don't make me cry like othe people's *coughcolette*
I also met Stephen West!!
The projects I have planned are:
- Finishing my Strawberry sorbetto
- Another Painted Portrait dress, most comfortable thing I own
- Finish baby quilt for Suzy!
- Finish Maenad, I was knitting along with craft nighters, but don't have much super focused craft time.
- Miz Mozelle (sp?) dress with cute corn fabric!
- Banksia top by Megan Nielsen
I've got to be getting to bed, but I'm going to try and be more regular posting on here. Maybe I will try the photo a day thing again.
