Spent the morning and afternoon with my parents, it was very nice. Gave me some more perspective on the whole previously mentioned situation. My dad pointed out that I had talked to him before I went on my trip and had thought it was all over before I had even gone. He said it wasn't really me cheating, but more moving on. He reminded me I'm not that kind of person and that I should be careful what I put into my psyche. It was nice to be reminded that I am not a bad person, with ill intentions for all.
We had a wonderful walk to the local Whole Foods to pick up some breakfast groceries. Came back, made it. Enjoyed a lovely fruit salad with peaches, blueberries, black berries and watermelon (there are leftovers!) Then just all around enjoyed each others company. It was their first time seeing my new place (been living here since late March.) They liked it. I hope I can find a part time job to be able to keep it!
